Creative Kit Catalog & Portfolio Concept
Every superhero needs a tool kit—and InspiraKits is mine.
This magazine-style catalogue was developed as a capstone piece for my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course. As part of the assignment, I created a fictional arts and crafts kit company that would function both as an educational tool and a playful portfolio concept. In other words, it had to be smart, structured, and fun.
The magazine showcases branding and layout design skills across two sections:
- A bold, colourful “Mini Makers” section for kids
- A clean, stylish adult section using process-inspired visuals and storytelling
Each page was designed to reflect both creativity and structured thinking—a balance that defines how I work best.
InspiraKits Magazine Cover

The cover was designed to feel fun, inviting, and brand-aligned.
For the kid-friendly section, I leaned into primary colours and featured Dot the Crafty Cat, a custom character created to appeal to younger audiences. The adult-facing side uses secondary colours and a more refined layout to signal modern, creative professionalism.
Magazine Pages
Below is a visual gallery of the full 20-page concept. Each page serves a distinct purpose: some inspire creativity, others explain how the kits work, and a few demonstrate how fun and process can exist side by side. As a result, the final product is both playful and thoughtfully structured.

- Portfolio thinking: how to show process + personality
💬 Final Thought
InspiraKits is fictional, but the work behind it is very real. Throughout the process, I was challenged to combine design, branding, and Lean principles into one cohesive, creative package. Ultimately, this project reflects how I approach real-world work—with imagination, structure, and an eye for detail.
